This lavish collection includes 8 CDs, 2 DVDs and a 160-page book as well as a massive spread of classic, rare, obscure, infamous and simply brilliant northern soul monsters. Obviously far too many to mention here but as an example of the broad range of styles, ‘Open The Door To Your Heart’ by Darrell Banks shares space with Lester Tipton’s magnificent ‘This Won’t Change’, the Brothers’ ‘Are You Ready For This’ couples up with Frankie Crocker’s ‘Ton Of Dynamite’ while Chubby Checker’s ‘At The Discoteque’ sits in the same collection as Otis Smith’s driving ‘Let Her Go’ among MANY others.
