Superb 6th volume of Jazzman’s Spiritual Jazz series features fourteen vocal jazz tracks. Standouts are Clifford Jordan amazing ‘John Coltrane’, Dr Haki R Madhubuti/Nation ‘Rain Forest’, Gary Bartz ‘Celestial Blues’, Eddie Gale ‘African Sunshine’, Byron Morris ‘Reunion’, and ‘Sunshower’. Max Roach ‘Tears for Johannesburg’ , Sadaka ‘African Violet’ and Charles Mingus ‘Moves’ are also pretty special making this the best volume of the series so far.
