Quartetto’ dates from 1959 and is fine Bop style Jazz from Italy. The album kicks off with ‘Quartetto’, which is a pleasant swinging yet understated Jazz tune. There is a blistering take on ‘Night In Tunisia’ and ‘Gabry’ is another fine up-tempo Jazz tune. The quartet of vibes, piano, bass and drum fires on all cylinders on ‘Quartetto’.
