Quantic are always interesting, they make interesting records and ‘Presents The Western Transient’ is no different. It is a collection of mainly laid-back grooves like the soothing ‘Latitude’ or the guitar led chill-out tune ‘Requiescence’. ‘Nordeste’ has a 60’s Latin Blue Note feel, and check the summery groove of ‘Creation’. Really nice quality listening Jazz music recorded live in the studio. The LP version comes in a gatefold hard backed coffee book style
