Drummer Alphonse Mouzon changed direction with ‘Morning Sun’. It had a more soul orientated with dancers like the single ‘I’m Glad That You’re Here’ heralding that move. Try also the catchy ‘To Mom With love’ or the atmospheric mid-tempo Jazz of ‘A Lullabye For Little Alphonse’. ‘If Tomorrow Comes’ features Freddie Hubbard and Herbie Hancock on what is an infectious Jazz funk piece. But Mouzon leaves the best until last with the fast paced Latin inspired Jazz funk of ‘Just Because Of You’.
