9th album from Jose James, the mood is very much relaxed, mid tempo modern soul on the more R&B side than not, though that said there’s still a nice organic feel to many of the tracks. The stripped back ‘Let It Fall’ is a delicate, engaging ballad, ‘Remember Our Love’ a big sounding number with a tough, syncopated drum beat and a catchy melody, ‘Live Your Fantasy’ is a warm, uptempo dancer aimed at club play, as is the funky ‘Ladies Man’ while the slow burn ‘To Be With You’ is another good mellow moment. Oleta Adams guests on the tender ballad duet ‘I’m Yours’ which sees Jose and Oleta sing with just a piano for company. A grower.
