Macedonian Guitarist and singer Vladimir Cetkar impressed with his debut from 2008, he returns with a far superior set ‘Heavenly’of groove tracks with live horns and strings. ‘I Remember’ is a lovely string laden uptempo track, with the feel of a Nile Rodgers production. ‘Lucky Pair’ and ‘Time Goes On’ are also strong uptempo grooves. ‘Heavenly’ is a great string laden groover with a nice Benson-esq guitar/scat vocal break and there is a Dimitri from Paris remix to give it more dancefloor appeal. ‘Fi Funk’, ‘Ti Funk’ and ‘Daytripper’ are good soulful guitar led driving groove jazzy instrumentals. Lovely mixture of Soul, Disco and Jazz, excellent album.

A surprising find – blown away by the fact that the artist himself composed, arranged and produced the whole album; I thought this type of musician is extinct in the uncreative reality show era we are living today – this certainly brings back hope…

This album is funky fresh, groovy and fun. It features acoustic string arrangements and 70s vibe. It’s both complex and poppy at the same time and you can tell that lot’s of work went into it. It’s the real deal.
