This 1974 album from underground Detroit singer Richard Popcorn Wylie was produced by McKinley Jackson and arranged by Gene Page and Paul Riser, with Lamont Dozier co-writing most of the songs.
The album is in a similar style to Lamont’s own albums of the time also recorded for ABC. The killer is the brilliant string laden modern soul instrumental ‘How Did I Lose You’. The mid tempo ‘Singing About Me And You’, Georgia’s After Hours’, ‘ESP’, ‘Lost Time’, ‘I Can Take The World On With You’ and the ballad ‘Trust In Me’ are great examples of fully orchestrated 70′s Soul. Another little known gem.
