Bobby Broom’s two albums from the early 80’s are released on one CD. Clean sweep, originally out on Arista GRP is a fine Jazz Funk album include s the Benson like ‘Clean Sweep’, the gentle ‘She’s My Reason’ and the funky ‘Saturday Night’ ( a la ‘Funkin For Jamaica’). ‘Livin for The Beat’ has more of an eighties groove feel with the big track being ‘Let It Go’ and similar type grooves such as ‘Give Me Your Love’ and ‘Find Yourself’.
