The title track is the standout cut – electronics wizardry fused with a tough dance groove has firmly planted this in the wants lists books of legions of vinyl hounds over the years, the breezy ‘Sing Me Your Song’ has echoes of West Coast ‘Yacht Soul’ while the experimental electro ‘One Day, Won’t Give It Away’ has an angular rhythm firmly rooted in the private club groove of the early 80s. The Island groove of ‘She Turns Me On’ has an infuriatingly catchy melody that switches around from dark to light and back throughout the whole song. A must for fans of underground 80s boogie.
