New Releases
There are some strong new releases this week. Top of the pile is the new Expansion compilation ‘Soul Shine’ an excellent set of 16 uplifting tracks perfect for your holiday listening, available on Vinyl as well as CD.
Tracy Hamlin continues her path of strong independent soul albums with a new set ‘No Limits’ also released on Expansion. Dego puts his unique West London sound to a new album that has some nice mid tempo melodies released only on Vinyl. Drummer and singer Jamison Ross has a nice album.
Soul Jazz records provide us with a second volume of underground Disco tracks, and the unissued Sly and Family Stone live at fillmore album is issued as a 4cd set, and there are also live albums from Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock.
