New releases
Its a great week for new releases with many fantastic albums this week.
Saun and Starr have made an incredible old school Soul album, one of the best of its genre in recent years. Cool Million return with possibly their best album, Conya Doss makes her best in a long while and Diane Shaw’s long awaited superb debut is here, great Soul backed by strings etc.
Kamazi Washington incredible ‘The Epic’ 3CD is one of the best Spiritual Jazz sets in a long time. Canadian Jazz group The Cookers make a really good volume two and singer Iain McKenzie gives us a nice swinging vocal jazz set. Jose James delayed RSD 180gm picture disc of his debut album The Dreamer has now arrived.
There are also some great vinyl singles this week. Don’t miss the limited edition Martin L Dumas 12″, theres a nice jazzy house track from Cecil on Osanlude’s label Ocha and a new Ashley Beedle mix 12″. Great 45’s are coming out en mass at the moment, this week there is the great Diane Shaw future classic ‘Give a little love’, a lovely Leon Ware double header, an unissued on vinyl Donny Hathaway single and reissues of Weldon Irvine fantastic ‘I Love you’ ft Don Blackman and Lynn Williams ultra rare funky soul ‘it takes two’.
Pre-orders
You can now pre-order for next week the new Mario Biondi Cd ‘Beyond’, Nia and a bit further away Diane Shaw’s album on vinyl. Tahirah Memory CD is coming shortly not available for pre-order at the moment but keep watching it will be up soon. See the pre-order section here

The Rebirth in store

Record store day titles are moving out quickly , we still have stock on most of the Soul and Jazz titles but most of these are now out of press, so once we run out that will be it. You can see what we have left here.
