Jarrod Lawson Vinyl arriving today
The Jarrod Lawson at the BBC Limited edition Mini LP will be arriving later today, orders will be shipped on Monday. If you haven’t already pre-ordered your copy yet please order it soon as they are going fast, and you won’t want to miss out on this essential limited edition release.
Jarrod will be in store on Sunday 12th April between 12.30-2pm signing copies, i hope that you can come and meet the man. If you cant make it but would like a signed copy you can pre-order a copy here.
New releases
There are some other good releases this week which have a heavy Jazz and blues bias. Jose James has recorded a very good Billie Holiday covers album , and there is a good compilation of her original songs to celebrate what would have been her 100th birthday. Elaine Elias gives a touch of sunshine with made in brazil album and there is a remix album of Giles :Peterson’s sonziera ‘brasil bam bam’. Finnish jazz band Daindeo return with some more dancefloor jazz and there is an interesting lost and found out takes from the Cuban Buena Vista social club.
45s
The two in demand killer cuts from Natural High rare album are issued back to back on 45 for the first time. The version of trust in me is an un issued extended version. The Timeless legend 45 has now been repressed flat and with the correct b side so orders for this are being despatched today.

Tristan in store
A Big thanks to Tristan and Heston for coming to the store last Saturday, you can see the pictures of the event here. We still have a few signed copies of Tristan 2nd phase and full power which you can order here.
Record Store Day 2015
Don’t forget to keep in your diary Saturday 18th April is Record Store day. We have 4 special vinyl releases on our own label and there are around 60 soul jazz reggae releases that we will be stocking.
Cecilia Stalin will be in store at 3pm signing copies of her RSD Story of love EP 12″. I Hope to see you on the day. Any stock remaining will be sold on line on Saturday 25th April. We will be loading the titles up on the site over the next 2-3 weeks so you can see whats going to be available in store on the day.
