NEW RELEASES
There are some good albums of the week. Ali Tennant returns after 15 years with a very strong R&B/Soul album ‘Get Loved’. John Legend has another good album ‘Darkness and Night’. Brit jazz funk Trumpeter Kenny Wellington pay homage to the great horn players with ‘Free Spirit’, and keyboardist Brian Simpson has a nice album ‘Persuasion’. Soul for the Realside vol 6 is another very strong compilation from the Outta Sight label. Solange and Bahama Soul club albums are now in on vinyl and Sharon Jones fantastic christmas album ‘it’s a holiday soul party’ is now back in stock on CD and LP.
REISSUES
There’s a great Breakwater 2 albums on one on Expansion and some brilliant value double CD Reggae albums.
VINYL
On Vinyl Erykah Badu ‘Baduism’ is finally released in its entirety on a Double Vinyl with the original sleeve. Stevie Wonder ‘Talking Book’ has a 180gm issue with the braile cover, and there are a limited quantity of some Stax/|Volt reissue albums.
We have a small quantity of two of our early in demand Soul Brother 45’s from The Soul Searchers ‘Ashley’s Roachclip’ and Big Brooklyn Red ‘Takin it to far’, grab these while you can. The Pretenders in demand ‘Just be Yourself’ is a great double A side reissue 45, and we have a few more of the great HE3 project 45.
BACK IN STOCK
Terisa Griffin ‘Revival of Soul’ is one of our new Soul albums of the year and it is finally back in stock this week. We also have He3 project Chapter one and Three and some of the Sharon Jones albums that recently sold out.
PRE-ORDERS
Pre-order for next week for Kindred ‘Legacy of Soul on White Vinyl , the Cd will also be back in., also great new albums from Carolyn Malachi and Sydni Marie.
The Arnold Blair 45 is due back in next week, and we are expecting to fulfill all pre-orders and have a few over.
