New releases – 16th December 2016

There are some great new and reissue albums this week. Carolyn Malachi has made a superb jazzy soul album in a similar style to Erykah Badu. Sultry soul singer Sydni Marie also has a good debut album ‘Sankofa’ . Jordan Rakei ‘Cloak’ also a quality 00’s Nu soul style album. Kindred ‘Legacy of love’ is now back in stock on Cd and issued on a limited edition White Vinyl LP.  Azymuth brilliant  ‘Fenix’ album is now also available on Vinyl. There are good new jazz albums from Bill Laurance, Victor Gould, Slowly Moving Camera and 4Korners,  plus the latest installment of Craig Charles Funk and soul compilation series. Pre-order for Georgie B/Groove Association due early next week.

Loads of good reissues and comps this week as well. Rozetta Johnson, Linda Jones and Syreeta have great compilations of their work. There are also strong compilations in Super duper love -mainstream hits and rarities, Nighttime lovers 25 and Celestial Blues.

There is some good vinyl issues this week with a live Incognito and some nice reissues.
