New releases
It’s a bumper week for releases both in terms of quality and quantity. Ed Motta has produced his best album to date ‘Perpetual Gateway’ , a killer mix of Jazzy Soul with a Steely Dan influence and Jazz featuring great musicians including Patrice Rushen , Hubert Laws etc. Greg Dean produces a quality New Soul album ‘Unconditional Love’, featuring Jarrod Lawson, Eric Robinson a perfect backdrop to Valentines Day. Snarky Puppy return with Family Dinner volume two another superb album featuring many guest vocalists and musicians.
New vinyl
Jeb Loy Nichols impressed with his RSD 45 debut last year and now makes a limited edition 6 track Vinyl mini LP , superb contemporary folky soul. Alex Puddu makes another soundtrack style funky jazz LP.
Also don’t miss the killer limited edition Dego and 2000 Black Family 12″ one of the best dancefloor tracks we’ve heard in a while. Stocks are very limited so grab it whilst they are here.
Reissues: CDs
There are some great reissues this week with CD’s from Edmony Krater (featured on the superb Koute Jazz comp) , Teddy Pendergrass long out of print ‘Joy’ and Gary Bias superb modal/spiritual jazz on the Nimbus label (see feature next week),
Reissues: Vinyl
Vinyl reissues are in abundance this week, with the fantastic unreleased Larry Young in Paris, John Coltrane Love Supreme – complete masters,and some great Impulse and Blue Note titles, a series of Marvin Gaye albums, The JB’s and several classic Blues albums all in this week.

We are now back in stock of the Matthew Halsall ‘Into Forever’ on Vinyl one of the best albums of 2015. We also have limited copies of New Love Ltd Interstate 95 and Alfredo LP’s back in , don’t sleep on these as this will be the last batch of them.
