Another fine selection of rare and obscure tracks from BBE that is compiled by legendary DJ Keb Darge and musician and collector Paul Weller.  28 tracks from the 50’s and 60’s that reflect a broad range of Soul and R&B.  There are some beautiful songs on this CD including The Creations ‘A Dream’, Brothers Of Soul ‘Come On Back’, the Flirtations’ Northern Soul flavoured ‘Stronger Than her Love’.  Other fine tracks include The Intruders’ Gamble/Huff produced ‘Hang On In There’ and Tammi Terrell’s ‘All I Do Is Think About You’.  But there is so much more…a testament to a much simpler and less produced musical heritage.
